Notes:
- Tire inflation pressure must not exceed 5 bar/72PSI when using the rim with a ringless lip system according to ISO/TC 31.
- For every 3° (5°F) increase in temperature, tire pressure increases by approximately 1%.
- If you inflate your tires in a cool garage in the morning (18 °C / 65 °F) and ride later at higher ambient temperatures (35 °C / 95 °F), it may result in an increase in pressure in the inner tube (See e.g., 0.5 bar/8 PSI).
- Tire pressure can easily exceed the maximum allowed, especially when riding on hot black asphalt pavement with temperatures exceeding 65 °C (150 °F). Additionally, too high a tire pressure can cause the tire to separate from the rim while cycling, creating a risk of injury.
- If the pneumatic tires are stored above 60 °C (140 °F) (see e.g., on cars in hot weather), reduce the inner tube to 1 bar/15 PSI to avoid valve deformation. Let it deflate.
